The University of Edinburgh wishes to appoint a single supplier to Inspect, Service and Maintain in a good and safe working order compressors, refrigerated air dryer, oil/water separators, line filter elements and associated plant and equipment on the various systems throughout the University of Edinburgh Estate. The contract will ensure that the equipment is maintained to the highest standard, reducing unscheduled downtime, improving reliability and reducing energy consumption, running costs whilst delivering optimum performance from the equipment.
The contract covers approximately 56 compressors, 13 air dryers and 11 filter and oil/water separator units. These are located in a wide range of buildings across the five University campuses. During the Contract Term, the Contractor shall carry out the required number of Pre Planned Maintenance visits per year in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and/or the applicable SFG20 guidelines and taking into account industry best practice.
This contract is being tendered on behalf of the University of Edinburgh and all University of Edinburgh Subsidiary Companies. Any and all of the University of Edinburgh’s Subsidiary Companies may access and utilise this contract at any time during the life of the contract.
This procurement will be conducted via the Public Contracts Scotland - Tender portal (PCS-T). We will apply a one stage Open procedure. Bidders must self-certify their adherence to the conditions of participation via the ESPD (Scotland) in PSC-T, and may be required to submit Means of Proof before contract award. Bidders must refer to the specific requirements listed in the Section III in this OJEU Contract Notice when completing the ESPD in PCS-T.
