The Council is urgently required to meet an essential maintenance programme in the fireproofing to all 59 Nr. of its high-rise properties.
To achieve this the Council are required to appoint a Hilti approved specialist firestopping contractor to install effective passive fire protection measures using appropriate third-party certified products to all lateral and riser service voids within the Councils high-rise properties.
All fire protection products/systems shall be installed by adequately trained specialist installers, either FIRAS registered or members of the ASFP.
Information will be captured using the Bolster data recording system.
