We have awarded the renewal of our software licence for the COGNOS system to the incumbent supplier. this is based on Regulation 33 - Use of negiotated procedure without prior publication.

Forestry Commission (FC) are transitioning to Forestry Land Scotland (FLS)and therefore all FC applications have been treated as a lift and shift to Scottish Goverment to meet the deadline of the 31/3/19. The COGNOS system is used as our main financial business budget processing system and therefore it is critical to the day to day operations. Due to the timescale in transitioning, there has been no time afforded to carry out a scope of requirements aligning to FLS and sourcing an alternative solution.
