The Purchaser seeks to replace their existing Firewalls. These will be procured in two separate orders and deployed in two separate deployment projects. The Purchaser operates two data centres in the West and East of Scotland, with firewalls in each data centre. This procurement exercise is being managed in a single ITQ to ensure standardised Technical Design, Capabilities, Servicing and Maintenance continuity across both projects. The Contract will be split into two distinct projects as follows:
1) Project 1: New DMZ / Termination zone for external, federated connectivity to the likes of Azure, Public Sector connections.
2) Project 2: Other (Main DMZ, PPN Core, Internet Edge, AnyConnect vpn) Firewalls
As well as the purchase of the hardware, there will be a requirement for assistance in installing, connecting and commissioning the new firewalls.
