The University of Aberdeen is partnering with the Oil and Gas Technology Centre (OGTC) to establish the National Decommissioning Centre. The OGTC goal is to provide an industry-led, focused and flexible approach to deliver, accelerate, stimulate and inspire innovation between industry, academia and government to help maximise economic recovery from the UK sector of the North Sea. The infrastructure necessary to support this will be high quality specialist computational facilities.
