The removal and storage requests may originate from different departments in the Council. Most removal and storage requests will originate from the Housing & Community Safety Service. This procurement activity is sufficiently broad to allow other departments and Services with Clackmannanshire Council to participate in use of the removal and storage activities.
Housing & Community Safety Service requirements are mainly with the removal and storage of furniture and personal items for individuals who are assess as homeless. This generally occurs when an individual comes to the Council and request homeless accommodation whilst looking for a permanent home as a Council tenant or other settled accommodation. The Council must arrange removal and safe storage services for individual's possessions when they are assessed as homeless.
