The main aim and purpose of this work is to develop a bespoke Mid-Fife Economic Action Plan that identifies and prioritises a more radical and disruptive set of proposals to help drive a step change in the economy of Mid-Fife. The action plan should be based upon an independent appraisal of Mid-Fife’s economic profile and business base, including an evaluation of existing plans and strategies and assessment of current and future business needs, in addition to stating deliverable actions to improve local economic performance. (Please Note Fife Council will provide electronic copies or signpost the successful tenderer to relevant existing plans and strategies referenced within the tender specification).
The timescale for this work is relatively tight, with development of the action plan to be completed prior to the summer committee recess at the end of June 2019.
