The aim of this contract is to provide an authority wide crisis service for young people aged 16 and 17 who present as homeless and who have no other current Social Work (SW) or TcAc involvement. The aim is to divert these young people away from homelessness by encouraging them, where appropriate, to consider returning home, or to family and friends rather than enter temporary homeless accommodation which may not be appropriate for their needs.
