We are seeking specialists to work creatively with our community to consider the provision of play areas and outdoor activity spaces across the town. The aim is to design improvements or new developments that will suit all ages and abilities and encourage our community to be more active. People from across the town will be invited to get involved in the design process, taking inspiration from innovative approaches from across the country and internationally. The process will produce a ‘design masterplan’ that outlines the location and style of the community’s preferred options along with the anticipated costs. The final report will also highlight any ownership and maintenance issues and provide a list of funding and partnership opportunities to be taken forward.
