The works comprise ground investigation works consisting of: Approx. 11. cable percussive boreholes, all expected to extend to depths of between 30m bgl and 40m bgl. Within the cable percussive boreholes approx. 3 soil cored follow-on boreholes (wireline drilling) (advanced from the base of the cable percussive boreholes) – 2 expected to extend to depths between 40m bgl and 60m bgl, and 1 expected to extend to a depth of 70m bgl. Within the cable percussive boreholes approx. 11. rotary cored follow-on boreholes (advanced from the base of cable percussive / soil cored holes) – 1. to recover 6m of core, and 10 to recover 30m of core (expected to extend to depths ranging between 36m bgl and 100m bgl).Approx. 3 CPTs – 2 expected to extend to depths of 35m bgl, and 1. expected to extend to a depth of 65m bgl. Approx. 5 No. trial pits to 3.0m depth.
All works will be undertaken in close proximity to a watercourse.
