The Burrell Renaissance Project will deliver a world-class redisplay of the collection - promoting a deeper physical and intellectual access to and understanding of our objects, enabling relevant, meaningful and powerful dialogues with our target audiences. Digital interpretation will play a considerable part in achieving this.
In December of 2018 Glasgow City Council will appoint one or more companies to design, develop and deliver hybrid, manual and tactile interactives that will interpret the redisplayed Burrell Collection for a variety of audiences.
This project is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
There are four separate Lots to develop software and content for the Burrell Project:
