With funding from the Scottish Government, Energy Saving Trust is seeking to establish a framework of suitable suppliers to supply and install electric vehicle (EV) supply equipment across Scotland, providing experienced and competent staff to work independently and/or in close liaison with Energy Saving Trust and the relevant charge point hosts. The principle service that shall be required under this framework shall be the supply and install of EV charge points, and commissioning of charge points to the ChargePlace Scotland back office, however additional services may include (but are not limited to) the provision of appropriate marking of parking bays, provision of protective canopies, supply of appropriate signage and provision of advice to prospective hosts.

Alternative Charge Point Scotland Arrangements
Thank you for previously expressing an interest in the Charge Point Scotland Installer Framework.
Following discussions with Transport Scotland, Energy Saving Trust have decided not to proceed with this procurement exercise.
In place of this, we will be introducing a new funding scheme at the beginning of August that will offer suitable sites grant funding to install appropriate charging infrastructure to be made available to the public on the ChargePlace Scotland network.
Further information is included in the attached document and more details on the customer application process will be supplied shortly.
Energy Saving Trust will still require installations to be completed by an eligible installer, and we are now accepting requests for review.
To become eligible to install units funded by this grant, installers must read the document attached to this PIN notice as an additional document titled “EST Public Charge Point Installer Information” and supply the necessary information.
