Scottish Fire & Rescue Service (SFRS) seeks to procure a main contractor to deliver reconfiguration and refurbishment works to the building fabric and services at Lerwick Fire Station. The building works are being undertaken to allow co-location with the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) specific alterations for SAS working include the provision of laundry and sluice facilities, a dedicated office, a consumables store and a drug store. Alterations to kitchen/dining area, locker rooms and toilets/showers will also be required to provide suitable facilities that can be shared by both services.
