Swansea Council ADG has been appointed to design and project manage a regeneration scheme to bring dwellings in line with the Welsh Housing Quality Standard requirements. The following document sets out the specification in line with the Client (Swansea Council Housing) Brief. The purpose of the regeneration scheme is to carry out works to upgrade Thermal Value to 49nr. Council owned properties at Chestnut Avenue, Gonhill, Northeron & Cartersford Place, West Cross.Properties within regeneration scheme are tenanted 2/3 Bed semi-detached properties and 2 storey flats. External With a lack of suitable Insulation, the properties have been identified as below the current requirements to meet the WHQS. `wall fabric is traditional cavity wall construction made up of an internal blockwork skin, 50mm cavity and a pebble dashed blockwork / brickwork external façade. The chimneys are of masonry construction.Your company is a member of National Federation of Roofing Contractors and must be Marley Approved Product Installers approved or your proposed sub-contractor/s are NFRC accredited / Marley Approved Product Installers.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
