Contract AwardNational Resilience team are looking to uplift the catastrophic bleed capability on all front-line appliances within Wales. The uplift will complement fire crew’s trauma equipment by adding a further four more Tourniquet, Chitogauze, Bandage Civilian 4” and 8” and Russell Chest Seal. The capability team has based its requirements to interoperate with other emergency services and in line with the Manchester inquiry recommendations, this will also improve all three Welsh Fire & Rescue services Ten Second Triage (TST) response.
