Mae Ysgol Bontnewydd wedi llwyddo i wneud cais am arian i adeiladu campws Ysgol/Cymunedol newydd.Bydd yr Adeilad yn gwasanaethu cymuned Bontnewydd, gan wneud y mwyaf o'r defnydd a rennir o adnoddau, gan gynnwys ysgol gynradd, cyfleusterau cymunedol a gofal plant.Bydd yn enghraifft o gynaliadwyedd o ran lleihau carbon wedi'i fewnosod ac adeilad di carbon wrth defnydd.Cam cyntaf y gwaith fydd symud Ysgol bresennol y 1970au i Adeiladau dros dros dro.
