Powys County Council has secured funding from the Shared Prosperity Fund and wishes to procure the drafting of a Powys wide Cultural Tourism Feasibility Study. The Powys Cultural Tourism Feasibility study will research and build a tangible, deliverable cultural tourism project for delivery over a 3-year period, telling the stories of the significant cultural history of Powys in a vibrant and engaging way.This project will create interest and build local pride in these unique historical events, making them more accessible for local communities, for educational purposes and for visitors to the area. Visitors may be keen to immerse themselves in Powys’ sense of place, using modern interpretation and digital technologies to bring our history alive and make it relevant to the Powys we know today.
