This will be achieved by working with a minimum of 5 local authorities across Wales to review their existing supply framework and menu provision to develop a new menu that incorporates more Welsh produce and suppliers. Lessons learnt and best practice will be shared with both public and private sector school meal providers in line with the Welsh Labour – Plaid Cymru policy for universal free school meals in Wales.
