1.4The Authority is seeking to appoint a contractor who specialises in the generation of electricity from landfill gas and landfill gas management (optional) to supply a landfill gas (LFG) power generation unit on a rental basis including delivery, mechanical installation and connection to the site landfill gas extraction system and National Grid connection, start up, commissioning and performance testing, and the provision of Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services on the LFG power generation unit and the existing flare and associated infrastructure within the gas engine compound and other associated services.
