Gwynedd Council wishes to engage with the market to establish the interest by prospective buyers to make beneficial use of dredged sands and gravels at Pwllheli Harbour, Gwynedd. The physical characteristics of the material is visually characterised as medium to coarse sand and gravel. The material is currently stockpiled adjacent to the Harbour entrance (NGR SH 38847 34679 // Easting: 238847 Northing: 334679).Gwynedd Council is offering approximately 15,000m3 of sands and gravels or 27,750 tonnes (using conversion factor of 1.85).If there is sufficient interest, Gwynedd Council would aim to invite offers before the end of December 2022 with the intention of releasing the material in January 2023.Please note that due to the built up nature of the areas in which the material is currently stored, there would be conditions related to the sale, in particular with regard to transportation of the material from the site.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=126028.
