CONTRACT AWARD NOTICE. Community Preventative Services across Carmarthenshire.
The Services to which this Notice relates falls within the Regulation 74 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Although the Council may voluntarily adopt certain provisions in the Regulations neither employment of any particular terminology nor any other indication shall be taken to mean that the Council intends to hold itself bound by any of the Regulations save those applicable to services falling within Regulation 74. The Council may, from time to time, at its absolute discretion, undertake a renewal (Renewal) of this Contract during the Term. The Renewal may include, but shall not be limited to, varying the number, scope, extent and description of the Lots, Services and/or Charges (as the case may be), together with the appointment of additional (new) Suppliers.

Carmarthenshire County Council have been made aware to a degree of ambiguity pertaining to the provision of Mental Health services within the Community Preventative Services model; phase 1 and phase 2.
Please be advised that phase 2 is under development and Carmarthenshire County Council is not in a position to confirm the specification nor to provide any assurance regarding funding levels at this stage.
For clarity, parties with an interest in delivering Mental Health Specialist services may, at this time, consider Lots 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D and 2E of the Community Preventative Services tender.
On this basis we have decided to extend the closing date to ensure that all interested parties have an opportunity to tender.
