The reasons for the potential non-compliance must also be stated.The Vehicle/s and all associated equipment must comply in every respect with all current and relevant Regulations, Acts and Directives including the Department for Transport Regulations and the Health and Safety at Work Act.The warranty period stated shall be the warranty period for full parts and labour cover only. The warranty period is to be offered on the understanding that the Council will fulfil its obligations to ensure the vehicle and ancillary equipment is maintained and serviced in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendations.Where Tenderers consider that any items offered do not fully meet the Specification, a remedy or an alternative item may be offered as a variation. Tenderers shall ensure that any cost implications associated with variations are included in the total net price of the Vehicle, stated in the relevant Annex 2 - Pricing Schedule.To assist the Council in assessing Specification compliance, the Council may require a Tenderer to provide a demonstrator vehicle. Demonstrator vehicles shall be provided at no cost to the Council and must be sufficiently similar to the vehicle offered by the Tenderer to allow for an assessment of Specification compliance. Failure to provide a demonstrator vehicle without reasonable explanation, either when requested or within any timescales specified by the Council, shall entitle the Council to reject the Tender.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
