Caerphilly County Borough Library Service has received funding from both the Welsh Government Capital Transformation Grant Scheme and CCBC Place Shaping Fund, with match funding added from CCBC Library Services.The combined funding will be used to reconfigure, refurbish, and modernise both floors at Rhymney Library: modernise the current lending library and create a community training and support hub for residents in the upper Rhymney area, to form the Rhymney Library & Idris Davies Community Learning Hub.This tender document constitutes a specification of requirements for both library floors for:• All loose furniture / soft furnishings in public library spaces.• All loose furniture / soft furnishings in designated office spaces.• All loose furniture and shelving in library staff area.• All loose furniture for the Idris Davies Community space and Training Room.• Library stock shelving – both adult and children.• Bespoke artwork, graphics, and decorative items.This specification also seeks the design proposals of tenderers in order to achieve the most suitable public library layout on the ground and first floors, taking into account pre-identified, planned, and new-build areas that cannot be changed.There is no requirement on any interested parties to this specification to undertake any building construction activity or fit suitable flooring / carpet, window blinds or internal decoration as part of this scheme, with the exception of graphics identified in this tender document.Full details can be fund in the ITT documentationNOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=123142.
