Re-tender of Provision of Diversionary Youth Project

Bridgend Public Services Board are looking for a detached youth work team to work closely with colleagues in South Wales Police, existing youth provision and other third sector providers to address anti-social behaviour in the community and prevent first time entrants into the youth justice system.The successful bidder will:Provide pop-up diversionary activities to engage with children and young people across the county boroughWork in collaboration with other third sector providers and the BCBC Education and Family Support team to signpost children and young people to relevant provisionProvide a team of detached youth workers who will quickly respond to requests to engage with children and young people and divert them away from anti-social behaviour on a reactive basisThe end goal of the project is for children and young people to be signposted/referred to existing BCBC and third sector youth provision and other education, sporting and positive leisure activities.NOTE: The authority is using e-Tenderwales to carry out this procurement processNOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
