Caerphilly Castle Moat Bank Stabilisation Works

Cadw are seeking to appoint an appropriately qualified and experienced civil engineer contractor to carry out stabilisation works to the moat bank at Caerphilly Castle. The works required are included in full within the tender pack of the e-tender system but are summarised as follows:Stabilisation of the upstream embankment toe of the Outer Moat;Installation of erosion protection opposite the outlet to the auxiliary overflow; andUndertake remedial repair works to areas of ground subsidence and erosion to the area located on the Southwest embankment of the Southern Lake at Caerphilly Castle.The successful contractor must commence work by 28th June 2022 and complete within an approximate 8 week period.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
