Public mental health project

The Objectives for the Public Mental Health project are:

Promote positive mental health, reduce mental health stigma, primary prevention of mental ill health through evidence-based practice.

Build capacity for peer support and lived experience engagement.

Advocate for better policies, support and services to protect, improve or maintain mental health.

The project/service will be aimed at adults living in the City of York Council area, with a particular focus on those who are at increased risk of developing poor mental health. The project/service is not intended to offer 1-to-1 support.
