Northumbria University has procured the design, manufacture, delivery, installation, and commissioning of a specialized Low-Pressure Fischer-Tropsch (FT) Reactor System to support the On-site And On-demand Electrochemical Recycling Of CO2 To Make Sustainable Aviation Fuels (eCOGEN) research project. The procurement encompasses a fully integrated, lab-scale Fischer–Tropsch tubular (fixed-bed) reactor rig designed for converting synthesis gas (CO/CO2 and H2) into liquid synthetic fuels and chemical precursors under controlled low-pressure conditions.
