Extension option
The Contracting Authority reserves the right to extend the contract term where circumstances outside the Contractor's reasonable control materially affect the programme for preparation, consultation, examination or adoption of the Neighbourhood Plan. Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to, delays in statutory consultations, responses from external bodies, examination processes, decision-making by third parties, changes in legislative or policy requirements, or other unforeseen events affecting the project timetable. Any extension will be limited to the period reasonably necessary to complete the services and will be agreed in writing between the parties.
