NHS Thames Valley ICB ("the Commissioner") is commissioning a Local CAS & ED Revalidation Service.
Primary Care Clinical Assessment & ED Revalidation service for Frimley ICS patients in Bracknell, RBWM & Slough Places.
The four main elements to the provision of the core services are:
•Interoperability with 111 service provided by SCAS
•Clinical input - diagnosis and treatment
•Suitable accommodation for patients to be seen face-to-face
•Transport - cars including drivers for home visiting
The core service will integrate with the local 111 and other health and care services, observing the overriding principles of seamless transfer. The 111 provider is South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. "Integrated" in this context is defined as ensuring that the caller's journey through the urgent and emergency care system is supportive and seamless.
Thames Valley ICB has followed PSR Direct Award C for the contract to which this notice relates.
