Lancashire County Council currently operates / contracts a single supplier framework for the distribution of food and drink products including the supply and delivery of fresh fruit, vegetables and salad products to over 500 units, including schools, care homes, day centres and civic units.
The contracted distributor is responsible for the supply and delivery of fresh fruit, vegetable and salad products and also responsible for the distribution of food and drink supply contracts that are currently ongoing and may be retendered throughout the duration of the framework agreement.
Lancashire County Council will be seeking to retender these requirements, for a new arrangement to commence in May 2027.
