The service will provide specialist palliative care to support individuals, and their families / carers affected by terminal illness. The service will be delivered by a multi-disciplinary team including doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, dieticians, social workers, physiotherapists, complementary therapists, chaplains, and counsellors.
The service will include the provision of:
Inpatient admissions for pain and symptom management including psychological issues and end of life care.
Day Hospice services for pain and symptom management, psychological support, and respite.
Specialist lymphoedema care.
Bereavement counselling services for adults and children.
