Thornbury Town Council is seeking a contractor to design and create replacement innovative play features at Streamleaze play area in Thornbury. Changes the buyer published to this notice after it first appeared.
The submission date for tender returns has been extended by approximately three weeks to 16.03.26. We have been informed by several suppliers that there has been an significantly large influx of tender opportunities for play area and similar facilities which would make our original deadline unrealistic and/or leave us with very few tender returns. In the interest of fairness to all potential bidders and an improved return for us as a Town Council, we have agreed to extend the deadline.
Following a number of comments from potential bidders, the Design Brief has been amended in relation to the changes required to the tarmacked basketball area. The following requirement - "patch repairs should be made to the tarmac where small undulations have developed" has been REMOVED. No patch repairs will be required. All other details regarding this tender are unchanged.
