NHS Cheshire & Merseyside Integrated Care Board has decided to abandon the Procurement for Lot 1 and will not proceed to contract award.
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) notice that this provider selection process has been abandoned and a contract has not been awarded. This process has been abandoned under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply.
During the evaluation process, the Relevant Authority identified an error in the financial envelope included within the procurement documentation, meaning that the information provided to bidders did not accurately reflect the intended funding position for the services.
The Relevant Authority has determined that continuing with the current process would risk compromising the fairness, transparency and integrity of the procurement.
The Relevant Authority will consider the appropriate next steps for the requirement in Lot 1 of the Procurement. Any future opportunity will be advertised in line with the Relevant Authority's obligations under the Provider Selection Regime.
