Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire & West Berkshire (BOB) and Frimley (Berkshire East) Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) (the Commissioners) sought to commission providers who have the capability and capacity to deliver Restorative Dental Services Endodontic and Prosthodontic) in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire & West Berkshire and Frimley (Berkshire East), in line with the specified requirements.
The procurement was divided into 8 lots (Lots 1 - 4 for Endodontics and Lots 5 - 8 for Prosthodontics) in the BOB ICB area & and Frimley ICB (East Berkshire) area. Providers were able to bid for a maximum of 4 Lots (Maximum of 2 from lots 1 - 4 and maximum of 2 from lots 5 - 8).
The maximum total initial contract values (5 years) for each lot were as follows:
Lot 1 - Endodontics Buckinghamshire: £788,400
Lot 2 - Endodontics Oxfordshire: £1,002,600
Lot 3 - Endodontic Berkshire West s: £712,200
Lot 4 - Endodontics Berkshire East: £613,800
Lot 5 - Prosthodontics Buckinghamshire: £729,400
Lot 6 - Prosthodontics Oxfordshire: £927,500
Lot 7 - Prosthodontics Berkshire West: £658,700
Lot 8 - Prosthodontics Berkshire East: £567,700
The contract term was planned to commence on 1st April 2026 for a duration of 5 years with an optional extension of 2 years. The date will be subject to agreement with the commissioner or their successor organisation(s), further to changes to the indicative tender timetable published.
This notice serves as an intention to award contracts under the competitive process of the Provider Selection Regime (PSR).

This corrigendum notice is to declare that the commissioner has taken the decision to abandon the provider selection process tendered under Lots 7 and 8 of this procurement, and therefore not award a contract for either Lot.
This decision has been made prior to any standstill period.
For the avoidance of doubt, this abandonment relates solely to the contracts tendered under Lots 7 and 8 of this procurement. The remainder of the procurement process will continue.
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) notice that this provider selection process relating to Lots 7 and 8 has been abandoned and a contract has not been awarded for these Lots. This process has been abandoned under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and The Procurement Act 2023 do not apply.
Contract award for Lots 1, and 2 took place on 28th July 2026 following conclusion of the standstill period.
The contracts will be for an initial duration of 5 years with an optional extension of up to 2 years.
