This Open Framework ('OFW') is for the undertaking of Ground Works on peatland restoration Work Sites around the Peak District and South Pennines SAC, with the aim to restore hydrology, stabilise and revegetate bare peat, and increase biodiversity on the Sites.
The OFW Works comprise the following 9 'Elements'

5. Planting
6. Natural Flood management
7. General Machine/Tractor Works
8. General Labour
9. Invasive Species Removal
All contracts under the framework will be procured via further competition.

A clarification has been published in the attached "MFF165_Clarification 01.pdf"
This relates to clarification of bund specification type to be considered in Framework itemised costs sheet, as follows:
a. In document "Appendix 1 MFF 165 Framework Itemised Costs.xlsx", tab "3_Machine Work", Contractor to price item 3 "Peat Bunds" on basis of "Scallop" bunding specifications.
i. Quantity remains as per existing "10 hectares".
ii. Contractor should provide additional information at bottom of tab in table titled "bunds additional info".
iii. The template "Appendix 1 MFF 165 Framework Itemised Costs.xlsx" has not been amended.
iv. No other Changes to the ITT or submission requirements, as a result of this clarification.

Should a supplier already have submitted a tender, and, on the basis of this clarification, wish to revise their tender documents; they should submit their amended tender submission (in full), following the original submission instructions, before the tender return deadline.

Clarification 2 issued:
Clarification of Trackway requirement associated with MFF165-01 Package 7.
a. In Document "Appendix 7a MFF165-01 Packages 1 to 11.pdf" detailing the site specific requirements of each work package, the requirement for Temporary Trackway associated with Package 7 (Rivelin/Moscar Groundworks) is revised. The Temporary Trackway requirement (item 3.15) has been amended to i. "The Contractor will be required to supply and install temporary trackway at the lift site. Approximately 20m x 20m area will be required at the lift site, for a period of approximately 5 weeks. Temporary trackway to be suitable for stockpiling and handling gully blocking stone and principally to act as demarcation layer from underlying grass. OSB/ply boarding would be considered acceptable." ii. Document "Appendix 7a MFF165-01 Packages 1 to 11.pdf" has been replaced with "Appendix 7a MFF165-01 Packages 1 to 11_v2.pdf" incorporating this amendment.
b. Document "Appendix 8 MFF 165-01 Packages Itemised Costs.xlsx" Has been amended with respect to Package 7; Tab "P7- Rivelin" has been amended to add Item specifically for costing trackway. Item 12; "Temporary Trackway/ground protection at Lift site" (12.1 and 12.2) has been added. Please use the revised version of this document, "Appendix 8 MFF 165-01 Packages Itemised Costs_V2.xlsx".
