Due to additional scrutiny required on sites to be used the tender notice is now due to be published in September rather than August as previously estimated.
The estimated contract start date has changed from November 2025 to April 2026, as a result of market feedback indicating that a significantly longer tender response period is required than previously anticipated.
The contract term has also been updated from up to 20 years to 15 years as per the requirements of the funding body - the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV).
