WWU have a number of sites across Wales and the South West and wish to improve the physical security at these sites. WWU intend to award a contract for access control systems that meet the most stringent physical and cybersecurity government standards.
The proposed systems have been approved for high-security solutions and are authorised for use on Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) sites by the National Protective Security Authority (NPSA).
The software system is Cyber Assurance of Physical Security Systems (CAPSS) Class 3 and associated card readers are Class 2
