16-19 English and Maths GCSE CPD Market Engagement

This is not a call for competition and does not commit us to procuring or procuring services in specific ways, and any future opportunities are subject to funding availability.
The quality of the English and Maths workforce across the FE sector is paramount, and the Department continues to work with the sector to ensure that providers can recruit, retain, and develop the teaching and governance staff they need to deliver the best possible education to students.
Purpose
The purpose of engaging the market at this time is to:
Understand market interest and capacity in delivering 16-19 Level 2 English and/or Maths CPD to the workforce (including via innovative provision to achieve the best outcomes for learners);
Understand the market interest and capacity in delivering workforce support in the context of English and/or Maths in the wider organisation, including to English, maths & college leadership;
Receive feedback from the market on the capacity to ensure national coverage, particularly in regions with higher resit levels.
