Change from:The MHRA science labs located at the South Mimms site and the organisation havenumerous floor standing Ultracentrifuges and high speed centrifuges from a singlemanufacturer across the site. The Ultracentrifuges are used flexibly for a range of laboratorytechniques including the purification of viruses, or the extraction of viral/bacterial nucleicacid. Around half of the ultracentrifuges are used in high containment areas.The various rotors used are compatible across the range of centrifuges and it is required thatthere shall be no loss of service as and when new centrifuges are installed.The restricted tender shall consist of 3 lots as described below.i) Supply, install and provide training for floor standing laboratory centrifuges from the samemanufacturer, upto ultra performance speeds.ii) During the transition phase to provide own rotors and Beckman Coulter rotors (orcompatible equivalents), that are necessary to allow MHRA to continue to operateefficiently.iii) Provide ongoing maintenance, calibration and certification services for MHRA’s entirefleet of centrifuges.Tenderers who have the capability are invited to Express their Interest in the first instance byregistering and replying to this PIN.Change to:The MHRA science labs located at the South Mimms site and the organisation have numerous floor standing Ultracentrifuges and high speed centrifuges from a single manufacturer across the site. It is a requirement that if the Supplier will be proposing another manufacturer, that it ensures that there shall be minimal loss of service as and when new manufacturers centrifuges are installed.The restricted tender shall consist of 3 lots as described below.i) Supply, install and provide training for floor standing laboratory centrifuges from a single manufacturer, upto ultra performance speeds. ii) To provide manufacturers rotors and Beckman Coulter rotors (or compatible equivalents), that will be necessary to ensure MHRA can continue to operate efficiently.iii) Provide ongoing maintenance, calibration and certification services for MHRA’s fleet of floor standing centrifuges.Tenderers who have the capability are invited to Express their Interest in the first instance by registering and replying to this PIN.
