Maintenance of the Council's tree stock which includes street trees, park trees and trees in conservation sites. The successful providers will work along side the Council's main arboricultural contractor.
The borough will be divided Areas (Lots) and suppliers can bid for 1 or more Areas but will only be awarded one Area.
The Council is also looking to establish a framework of providers to undertake work that can not be undertaken by either the main contractor or the Area provider. Providers who pass the quality thresholds set out in the tender documents but are unsuccessful at being awarded an Area, will be appointed to the Framework which will cover the whole borough OR suppliers may apply to be appointed to the Framework only.
