The NAEI is a long-running programme which has been responsible for producing the UK’s Greenhouse Gas and Air Quality Pollutant Inventories in order to meet its domestic and international reporting obligations and to inform decision makers on the impact of policies on emissions, and to aid in the development of new policies to help the UK meet its long-term climate and air quality targets.
