Kirklees Council intends to establish an Electronic Marketplace (EMP) with Delivery Partners with relevant experience and ability to provide Adult Education, Training, Employment & Lifelong Learning on a non-exclusive basis.
This EMP will allow applicants to become eligible to bid to provide the individual Service

Variation and Extension to the Electronic Market Place for the Provision of Adult Education, Training, Employment and Lifelong Learning KMCAS-164 (the "EMP").
Pursuant to the Procurement Act 2023 Transitional Guidance the length of the EMP will be extended beyond 31st May 2027 for a further nineteen months (19) months from 1st June 2027 to 23rd February 2029.
The value of the EMP will be increased by £1,875,000 (One Million, Eight Hundred and Seventy Five Thousand Pounds) pursuant to Schedule 2 General Specification at Section C Category Information, which says:
"Kirklees Council reserves the right to extend up to a maximum of 50% of the original contract value at their discretion based on successful performance, availability of funding, suitability of the course category and demand."
Bringing the total maximum spend allowed under this EMP to be £5,625,000 (Five Million, Six Hundred and Twenty Five Thousand Pounds). This figure is an estimate only and given for information and guidance and the Council shall not be bound by this estimate.
