This project is to assist the Local Authority Fire and Rescue Services National Joint Council (NJC) in fulfilling an outstanding commitment from the 2023 pay agreement, which is to provide advice on whether the existing 5% pay differential between the starting pay within the roles of firefighter, and firefighter (control) is still appropriate.
