The aim of this tender is to create a Framework Agreement maximum of three suitable Service Providers of Intellectual Property (IP) Services that can be used by the University to assess, capture and protect University-generated IP that has potential for assignment to Spin-out companies supported through the project.
The tender is to support the project with Intellectual Property services; these may include, but are not restricted to:
⢠Drafting and filing UK and international patent applications
⢠Prosecution of UK, PCT and international patent applications
⢠UK and international registered trademark guidance and applications
⢠UK and international registered design guidance and applications
⢠Freedom to operate analysis/searches
⢠Assignment of intellectual property rights
⢠Other relevant IP professional services as required
The intellectual property will be generated from across a diverse range of sectors:
⢠Transport technologies
⢠Building technologies/construction
⢠Advanced manufacturing and advanced engineering
⢠Environmental technologies
⢠Applied materials
⢠Agri-tech/agriculture, food and drink
⢠Medical technologies
⢠Energy generation
⢠Defense and securities
