The principal objective of the Works shall be the routine maintenance, testing and repair of various fire alarm and fire safety systems in Great Ormond Street NHS Foundation Trust properties as itemised in Appendix A - Schedule of Sites/Buildings. This Objective shall ensure the equipment is maintained and tested based according to the requirements of BS5839-1:2017.
The objective further includes the need to carry out all minor repairs or replacements found to be necessary during routine inspections and all other breakdown repairs and faults reported by the client.
To meet specific Trust needs all routine weekly testing shall be carried out by In-house team and is excluded from this tender and subsequent Contract.
