Provision of Microaerophilic Workstation

Public Health England (PHE) seeks to appoint a provider of Microaerophilic Workstation designed specifically to isolate and culture the Helicobacter and Campylobacter organisms directly from primary biopsy specimens.

The equipment must meet below requirements:

• A 4-gas system (H2 + N2 / CO2 / N2 / Air).
• Oxygen, CO2 and hydrogen sensors allowing for programmable gas concentrations
• Automatic humidification module
• Rapid airlock (at least 12.00L capacity) for transfer of multiple plates.
• At least a 440.00L main chamber capacity.

PHE believes Don Whitley Scientific Limited are the sole supplier of these products. Therefore it is Public Health England's intention to enter into an agreement with Don Whitley Scientific Limited for these products.
