The project involves the construction of two new residential buildings, known as Building A (17-23 Clement Road and Building B (22-26 Clements Road) and the associated external works. The buildings are situated on two sites opposite each other on Clements Road and will provide a total of 94 dwellings. The existing two council blocks which currently occupy the sites will be demolished separately by others prior to commencement of the Main works, including the construction a new UKPN substation at the rear of the 22-26 Clements Rd site.
Procurement of a single stage design and build contract. This scheme consists of 94 homes, of which 34 affordable. The procurement procedure is using competitive procedure with negotiation.
