This is a request for a new service to compliment existing pre-employment checking for all new hires to DfT, DVLA, DVSA, MCA and VCA. The new checks will be a social media check. The checks will be carried out by the provider with a report generated for the DfT Recruitment Team. Any potential risk areas highlighted based on the social media search will then be considered by the Recruitment Team and hiring manager where appropriate to determine if a full offer of employment should be made.
