IA2715 Contract for Stafford Town Centre Public Realm Works - Station Approach

This contract is for development proposals for Station Approach in Stafford. The development proposals consist of

*New block paving surfaces at the station entrance and footways immediately surrounding the canopy.

*New asphalt surface to the proposed drop off area.

• New granite kerbs.
• Increased island refuge area for the pedestrian crossing.
• All other surfaces to have local repairs undertaken only, including the removal of existing road markings and new markings applied.
• Existing bollards to the north are to be removed. New street furniture is proposed in order to comply with access requirements.
• A greater number of accessible bays are provided and are located close to the station.
