The purpose of this contract is for Operation Wallacea will work with a minimum of 10 farmers and land owners as well as private investors through a series of surveys and workshops to develop and test a business-ready model for landscape recovery through rewilding using blended public and private funding. They will create a business plan that will include understanding how to construct long term agreements and examining the potential for income during all stages of the proposed 20-year period, such as sales of biodiversity and carbon credits. They will also consider how to incentivise land manager participation and collaboration in landscape recovery projects
